Dry Waste & Skips
Facilities for the collection and disposal of dry waste are available from the Port in partnership with two reputable recycling contractors.
In addition to this the Port has also extended it's hazardous waste capabilities and can now accept the following by special arrangement: -
- Solid/Liquid Contaminated Cargoes
- Acid/Alkaline Cleaning/Flushing Fluids
- Hydrocarbon Contaminated Solids such as Spill Absorbents, Pads & Rags etc
- Air/Oil Filters
- End of Life Lubricants
- Paints & Thinners (Typical)
- Electrical Appliances, Light Tubes/Lamps
