The arrival of AIDA AIDAura and Regent Seven Seas – Seven Seas Explorer signalled the first cruise ship double header for Portland Port this cruise season.

The two cruise ships docked alongside each other with one on the outer coaling pier and one on the deep water berth. The combined duo brought ashore nearly two thousand passengers.

Portland Port is fast becoming renowned for providing a first class welcome and were all geared up for this dual arrival. This was the first of many double visits with another 6 expected over the season, another boost to the local economy.
