Portland Port is the ideal location for a long or short lay-up to undertake repairs or maintenance afloat. The port can accommodate a wide range of vessels at anchor or at berth. Engine overhauls, maintenance, on board and underwater work or refits can all be accommodated. If ownership change is required Portland Port is ideal for location to fulfil this task.
The port has berths for ships up to 350m LOA (subject to Harbour Master’s discretion) with alongside CD depths up to 11.7m and deeper anchorages in the inner and outer harbour for larger vessels.
