A PWC permit is required to operate a PWC in Portland Harbour.
Jet skis, jet surfboards and other PWC are only approved to launch from Ferrybridge Marine slipway with prior booking required (seasonal opening times apply).
Once launched you are required to follow the designated route in and out of the harbour. All use of PWC’s outside of this route is strictly forbidden, will not be tolerated and can lead to prosecution.
All PWC must be operated within the conditions set out by General Direction No2 of 2023.

You may be asked to show proof of purchase by the Portland Harbour Authority patrol RIB.
